Chicks On Sticks

Auckland fabric artist Shona Macdonald makes these sculptures from vintage fabrics. She loves taking lace and doilies from her grandmothers’ era and making them into something new. Each piece is treated with a special product which protects them from the weather if you choose to place them outside.

“These fabrics were made with love and treasured for many years” Shona says. “I am excited to be able to preserve them into something special”.
